Mentorship Program

TADA is thrilled to announce the launch of our Women In Automotive Mentoring Program.

The program has been designed to connect post-secondary students with Automotive industry leaders who can offer support and advice while encouraging young women to develop their skills that can lead them to lifelong careers in this exciting, vibrant and evolving industry. Participants will be matched with a mentor based on the information provided in their application package, as well as considerations including location, skills and experience. TADA will facilitate an initial orientation meeting between the mentor and participant and continue to support both throughout the program.

Program Overview

Student participants, with mentor support, will: – meet/connect for at least 4 hours per month for one academic year – develop a career plan – identify and overcome challenges in education and career-planning – work together to develop personal goals

What To Expect

Throughout the course of the mentorship term, mentors will help student participants by: – providing a dealership tour – providing a job shadowing experience – assisting with the development of career goals and planning – providing an inside look at managing, running or supporting a business – providing networking opportunities

Who Can Participate

Applications are open to students from all faculties and all programs. Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, Social Sciences and Humanities students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Who Are Our Mentors

Participating mentors are women from across the Automotive Retail and Service industry. They include Dealer Principals, General Managers, Directors of Human Resources, Marketing Managers, and Parts Managers.
