2023 Women Driven leadership awards

Amplify women to thrive in their automotive careers

It’s a pillar in our mission statement and we are proud to host the first Women Driven Leadership Awards this year. There is no limit to the number of individuals that can be nominated from a dealership (only one nominination per person is required). The Women Driven Leadership Award can be received by anyone at any level of employment in the automotive industry who:

– Demonstrates a strong commitment to the Women Driven Mission statement: amplifying women to thrive within automotive careers while cultivating a community of inspiration, innovation, inclusiveness and equity

– Possess a quality of leadership demonstrated through one or all of the following:

Exhibits the ability to connect and develop relationships that support a high level of trust and credibility.
Demonstrates systems thinking by effectively managing change through partnership, collaboration, and positive communication.
Empowers, challenges, and inspires others to reach their highest potential and motivates others through practice and values.
Promotes a work environment that is respectful, supportive and open to continued learning
Demonstrates initiative to improve the automotive industry for current and future generations of employees
Fosters pride in the automotive industry
Additional not required but we love to hear about: are actively involved in mentorship and development of others

We encourage nominations to be supported by your management team where applicable.

2023 Women Driven Program

In 2023 we are focused on growing the Women Driven community to build stronger connections and create a place to learn and share your stories. With a united voice, we can effect growth for women in our industry while amplifying the opportunities available for all.

As a main pillar of the MVRO, education will continue to play a major role in the Women Driven Program. From expert speakers at our events to valuable resources in our special edition Women Driven magazines.

2022 Women Driven Magazine

A celebration and recognition of the amazing leaders in automotive. Peer nominated we will publish all nominations and do a feature article on finalists in the Fall Special Edition Hotline magazine. The winner will be announced at the Automotive Conference & Expo in October.

Women driven community events

The Women Driven Program is back in person! We’re dedicated to growing our community through a series of in-person events across Ontario.

Reconnect with friends and peers in your LOCAL community while we enjoy food, drinks and a chance to learn something new. When we create a community, we can effect growth for women in our industry while amplifying the opportunities available for all. Space is limited! Make sure to register your team today and don’t miss out Tickets are $200 + HST per person.

Proceeds from each Women Driven event location will go towards a local scholarship
